Panepinto Crystal, Inc. was founded in 1974 by Dennis M. Panepinto. As a young lad growing up in a nearby community of Corning, New York, he showed a profound interest in glassmaking. By his early twenties he was an accomplished glassblower, creating exquisite works of Glass Art. His fascination with the complexities of molten glass led to developing skills in the art of glass slumping (also know as Sandwich Glass).
His clients have included presidents, movie stars, rock stars and theme parks, to mention a few. His works are cherished and displayed throughout the world.
Mr. Panepinto has drawn from his master craftsman's background to bring to life a dream of creating a collection of the highest quality suncatchers with the most vivid detail while incorporating metallic glitter colors.
Each on of his beautiful suncatchers are made by skilled craftspeople under his direction from lead-free metal frames, unlike others who use lead cane or copper foil which uses lead solder to strengthen the copper foil frame. Mr. Panepinto achieved his dynamic colors after many years experience with various colorants and metallic glitters.
